Job summary

Washoe County School District seeks a School Psychologist to provide psycho-educational services promoting student success. You will support site administrators, staff, parents, and Student Services with assessment, counseling, and data-driven interventions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, crisis planning, and applying evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes and school climates. Nevada licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's, Ed.S. or doctoral degree in a field that meets Nevada state requirements for obtaining a Nevada School Psychologist certificate.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years working with elementary or secondary students is desirable.
• Licenses: Nevada School Psychologist Certificate and License are required.

Responsibilities

• Administers psycho-educational assessments and writes reports with actionable recommendations.
• Provides psychological counseling to students and families as needed.
• Consults with teachers, parents, and administrators to support learning and behavior.
• Collaborates to develop academic/behavioral strategies and crisis responses.
• Participates in data collection and program evaluation to monitor progress.
