Job summary

The Beaufort County School District seeks a School Psychologist to promote student well-being through comprehensive psychological services within schools. You will assess, intervene, and collaborate to support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success for diverse learners.

Responsibilities include RTI/MTSS consultation, evaluation planning, counseling, data collection, and training staff, with a focus on equitable access and culturally responsive practices to help all students thrive.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid South Carolina teaching certificate or be able to obtain one within 60 days from hire.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Completed a program of study in School Psychology from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Participate in RTI/MTSS meetings and develop intervention plans.
• Collaborate with PBIS team and teachers to improve classroom management.
• Plan and conduct psychological evaluations within set timelines.
• Monitor reevaluation timelines and complete reassessment.
• Assist with development of 504 plans and accommodations.
• Collect data for required reports and maintain activity logs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed.
