Job summary

Kingdom East Unified Union School District is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to serve primarily at Lyndon Town School for the 2025-2026 year, providing assessment and interpretation of cognitive, academic, developmental, social and emotional needs to support eligibility and planning under Vermont disability categories.

Qualifications

Job Description

Kingdom East School District (KESD) is seeking a licensed School Psychologist, primarily assigned to the Lyndon Town School for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, to administer and interpret cognitive, academic, developmental, social and emotional disorders in order to identify and plan for student needs related to VT educational disability categories. This position is an integral part of the district’s evaluation team and collaborates closely with other evaluators, special educators, administrators and classroom teachers to support the team process determining, planning for and implementing student needs in an inclusive environment, where all pre- k 8th grade students access FAPE. The candidate will provide layers of professional development opportunities within the district. The Kingdom East School District uses both a pattern of strength and weaknesses model and RTI which compliments its high functioning MTSS, ESS and Act 77 programming. The candidate adheres to the Standards of Practice under the National Association of School Psychologist (NCSP) credential). The candidate is a positive and effective team member who respects students and families with diverse needs. Successful candidates will possess advanced degrees in School Psychology and be eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist by the Vermont Agency of Education and adheres to state and federal laws. The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000.

Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students.
