Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist to support four K-12 campuses near Springfield, VT, for the full academic year. The contract role provides 35–37.5 hours per week, focusing on assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families across the district.

You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, develop intervention plans, participate in eligibility meetings, and offer crisis support while working with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate.
• Background in K-12 school environments.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of age groups and school buildings.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing intervention plans and IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive school psychological services across four district schools.
• Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret results, and participate in eligibility meetings.
• Support students, staff, and families through consultation and crisis intervention.
• Develop, monitor, and help implement behavior plans and individualized education plans.
• Provide direct counseling and facilitate group interventions as needed.
• Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
