Trimble County Public Schools in Bedford, Kentucky is seeking a School Psychologist to provide a full range of psychological services for students, including evaluations, counseling, and consultation with staff to support learning and emotional well-being.

The position involves serving on the Intervention Team and ARC, developing and monitoring IEPs, and collaborating with families and community resources to promote positive outcomes for students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school psychology and Kentucky certification.
• Internship with at least 50% time in a school setting.
• Current valid driver’s license and ability to use office tech and data systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide psychological services as a member of the Intervention Team and ARC member in assessment, planning, monitoring, and reevaluation of students in need of special services.
• Use observation and various assessment techniques as a certified psychological examiner to diagnose learning strengths and difficulties and communicate findings.
• Prepare IEPs with teachers and parents and monitor implementation.
• Provide counseling to students, parents, and staff and support problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Coordinate with mental health resources in the community.
• Complete records and reports as required by law and regulation.
• Protect confidentiality of records and information.
• Perform duties within the scope of employment as assigned.
