Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a School Psychologist to join our team and positively impact the lives of children and communities nationwide.

You will provide counseling to students and families, participate in initial and annual IEP development, and collaborate with staff to support social and emotional development while maintaining compliance with all record-keeping and timelines.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology and endorsement as a School Psychologist required.
• Experience or specialized training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethical standards.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills with families and staff.
• Ability to coordinate activities with professional staff and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including inter-disciplinary meetings.
• Participate in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with and coach families and staff during weekly meetings to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure meetings and services are met.
