Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist to provide counseling to students and families and to participate in MTSS and IEP processes. The role involves collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff to support social and emotional development in students.

The position emphasizes coordination of meetings, adherence to safeguards and timelines, and independent, ethical practice within pediatric mental health settings.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in psychology is required or equivalent.
• Endorsement as a School Psychologist per state bylaws must be obtained or eligible.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.

Aufgaben

• Provide counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in multi-tiered systems of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including MDT meetings to evaluate and discuss diagnosis and treatment of students.
• Participate in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff during weekly team meetings and follow-up meetings to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to record-keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and procedural safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.
