Job summary

California Montessori Project seeks a School Psychologist to provide psychoeducational services supporting student learning, mental health, and well-being. You will work with teachers, families, and specialists to promote academic and social-emotional success while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will conduct assessments, develop evidence-based recommendations, and participate in IEP planning, with focus on MTSS and RtI, data analysis, and crisis intervention when

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in School Psychology.
• Knowledge of psychological principles, assessments, and interventions for children and adolescents.
• Experience with IDEA, Section 504, and California Education Code where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations, triennials, and referrals.
• Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Participate in development/review of IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, families, and other specialists.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Support MTSS and RtI processes and data-driven decisions.
• Maintain compliant records and IEP documentation.
