Qualifications

• Valid SC Certification as a School Psychologist II or III.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting.
• Experience with MTSS, behavior intervention, and crisis response.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
• Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports with recommendations.
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, manifestation determination, and other student support meetings.
• Support MTSS and problem-solving processes.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff on interventions.
• Assist in development, implementation, and monitoring of interventions.
• Collaborate to promote positive school climate and safe learning environments.
• Monitor student progress and use data to inform planning.
• Assist with threat assessment and crisis response activities.
• Facilitate communication between schools, families, and outside providers.
