Qualifications

• Specialist-level training or doctorate required.
• Licensed through Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
• Full-time with specialist-level training, 192 days/yr: starting salary $56,975.
• Full-time with doctorate-level training: up to $99,449.
• School psychology intern: 192-day contracted internship, starting salary $56,975.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and design educational plans for students with disabilities.
• Support MTSS and school-wide system improvements.
• Collaborate with teachers/administrators to plan tiered educational supports.
• Use functional assessment to guide interventions for student success.
• Advocate for children's educational needs across home, school, and community.
• Provide professional learning to teachers and schools.
• Assist schools in implementing mental health learning practices.
