Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education in San Francisco, CA is seeking a School Psychologist to join our clinician-led, multidisciplinary team. You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, prepare comprehensive reports, and participate in IEP meetings to support student outcomes.

We offer mentorship, professional growth, and a school-based calendar with summers off in some cases. A California PPS credential is required, and applicants must be able to work in person, with fingerprint and TB clearances.

Qualifications

• Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology.
• Ability to work in person.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students per California Dept. of Education and Federal guidelines.
• Prepare legally defensible reports of assessment findings with diagnoses and recommendations.
• Certify eligibility for placement in special education services per student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and follow timelines.
• Provide counseling to students when needed.
• Provide consultative support to administrators, parents, school staff on special education procedures and behavior/intervention strategies.
