Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist for a full-time maternity leave coverage position in the Northwest Cincinnati area. The role is in-person at Bridgetown Middle School and Rapid Run Middle School, with a weekly schedule of 7:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m.

Monday through Friday. The incumbent will provide counseling, participate in IEP development, collaborate with families and staff, and ensure compliance with documentation timelines, while supporting students with

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology.
• Endorsement as School Psychologist as prescribed by State DOE bylaws.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethics.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate activities with staff, parents, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to students and parents.
• Participate in multi-tiered support for students with social/emotional/behavioral needs and in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Participating in initial and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to record-keeping, eligibility, timelines and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule for required meetings and services.
