Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist for a full-time maternity leave coverage in the Northwest Cincinnati area. The position is in-person at Bridgetown and Rapid Run middle schools with a 5-day, 7:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m. schedule during the 2026–2027 school year.

The role involves counseling, IEP involvement, and collaboration with families and staff to support students’ social and emotional development while ensuring compliance and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology required.
• Endorsement as School Psychologist per State requirements.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently with ethical standards.
• Strong verbal & written communication; collaborative with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to students and parents.
• Participate in multi-tiered student support teams and IEP discussions.
• Assist in initial and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Coordinate with families and staff during meetings to support social/emotional development.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with timelines and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule for required meetings and services.
