Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) in Northwest Cincinnati is seeking a full-time School Psychologist for maternity leave coverage for the 2026-2027 school year. Work 5 days/week, 7:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m., in-person at Bridgetown and Rapid Run Middle Schools.

Responsibilities include counseling students and parents, contributing to IEP development, and collaborating with families and staff to support social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology is required or preferred.
• Endorsement as School Psychologist per state bylaws.

• Assignment length: Second half of the 2026–2027 school year, from the last week of January 2027 through the end of the school year (May 28, 2027)
• First placement: Bridgetown Middle School, from the last week of January to approximately March 29
• Second placement: Rapid Run Middle School, from approximately March 29 through May 28
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 7:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m.
• Setting: In person, school based

Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including participation in inter-disciplinary meetings to evaluate and discuss the diagnosis and treatment of students.
• Participating in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with and coach families and staff, during weekly team meetings and follow-up meetings, to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to federal/state/local procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and procedural safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology.
• Has obtained or is eligible for an endorsement as a School Psychologist as prescribed in the bylaws of the State Department of Education.
• Experience or specialized training in the field of pediatric mental health is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing.
• Has the ability to coordinate activities and work effectively with professional staff, support staff, parents, and representatives from agencies outside the school system.
