Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to support students in the Rio Rancho, NM area on a contractual basis for the school year (through May 28). You will work with a dynamic secondary caseload, collaborate with educators and families, and focus on assessments, IEPs, and mental health supports.

The role requires an NM PED license (active or eligible), prior school-based experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active NM PED license required or eligibility demonstrated.
• Experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
• Proficiency with Evaluations and Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs) is highly valued.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments and collaborate on IEPs.
• Conduct Evaluations and participate in Manifestation Determination Reviews.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Serve as a resource on mental health issues and interventions.
