Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a school-based role in Rio Rancho, NM for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time position supporting a local school district and is ideal for credentialed School Psychologists who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Certification as School Psychologist in NM with NASP-aligned credential.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and IEP participation.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral).
• Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to support student success plans.
• Complete documentation, report writing, and eligibility meetings (remote documentation flexibility where permitted).
• Provide consultation and evidence-based recommendations to school teams.
• Work as part of a clinically led team focused on student outcomes and service quality.

Education

Active NM School Psychologist license

Ed.S. or higher NASP-approved program
