Job summary

SPLENDORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a School Psychologist to provide assessment, counseling and consultative services for students with diverse needs. The role emphasizes evaluating intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning and contributing to IEP development under district policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in psychology or a related field.
• Valid license as a school psychologist with the Texas Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP).
• Experience in educational psychology settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ARD meetings to support IEP development and placement decisions.
• Meet with parents to discuss test results and background information.
• Conduct individual or group counseling per IEP directives.
• Consult with teachers on assessment findings and behavior intervention plans.
