Job summary

Dearborn Academy is seeking a School Psychologist to provide psychological evaluations for special education candidates and to support the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree in school psychology and possess a School Psychologist Certificate or equivalent qualifications.

This role includes direct collaboration with social workers and special education teams to ensure compliance with educational standards and support students' mental health and learning needs. The position is located in Dearborn, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an approved program in school psychology.
• Preliminary Psychology Certificate or School Psychologist Certificate.
• Compliance with Michigan requirements for Special Education Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations for students referred to special education.
• Assist with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide relevant input.
• Collaborate in crisis intervention as needed.
• Oversee the Response to Intervention (RtI) process.
• Ensure compliance with state guidelines for special education.
