Responsibilities

• Conduct individual school psychological evaluations as part of the full case study, including cognitive and achievement assessments and interpretation of results.
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RtI) activities: problem-solving, interventions, benchmarking, progress monitoring.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students and families to support educational experiences.
• Serve as a consultant to Member Districts on behavior management, learning problems and program development.
• Provide indirect services and/or interventions, acting as a liaison between school, families, and community agencies.
• Attend and coordinate case review team meetings, pre-meetings, and eligibility meetings as necessary.
• Communicate and work cooperatively with administrators, staff, parents, and students.
• Maintain ethical standards relevant to the profession.
• Organize workload to meet job responsibilities and deadlines.
• Prepare written reports and complete case study components in the IEP system.
• Maintain documentation for direct services such as counseling, consultations, and parental contacts.
• Participate in and/or conduct in-service training programs.
• Comply with Medicaid Administrative Outreach activities as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
