Job summary

Thrive Therapies is seeking School Psychologists to join our Tennessee team, supporting K-12 students in a school-based setting. The role emphasizes psychoeducational evaluations, eligibility decisions, and collaboration with educators, families, and multiple specialists to promote student success.

Ideal candidates hold NASP-approved/APA-accredited training (Ed.S./Ph.D./Psy.D.), TN certification, and demonstrated RTI/MTSS and crisis-support experience.

Qualifications

• Ed.S./Ph.D./Psy.D. in School Psychology from NASP-approved or APA-accredited program.
• NCSP credential or active state certification/license in good standing.
• Active Tennessee School Psychologist certification or license, or documented initiation of transfer.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, psychoeducational evaluation, and special education eligibility requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Interpret assessment data and develop educational recommendations.
• Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings.
• Provide mental health consultation and crisis support.
• Support RTI/MTSS frameworks and early intervention efforts.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary school teams.
• Support culturally responsive and equitable evaluation practices.
• Maintain accurate evaluation and eligibility documentation
