Qualifications

• Ed.S., Ph.D., or Psy.D. in School Psychology from NASP‑approved or APA‑accredited program.
• NCSP credential or active state certification/license in good standing.
• Active state school psychology certification or license, or documented transfer initiation before start date.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, psychoeducational evaluation methodology, and legal requirements for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive ability, achievement, social‑emotional functioning, and adaptive behavior.
• Evaluate eligibility categories including SLD, Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ED, and OHI.
• Write reports that are rigorous, legally defensible, and clear for IEP teams and families.
• Lead or participate in eligibility determination meetings and document data-driven recommendations.
• Provide crisis intervention and mental health consultation to teachers, families, and administrators.
• Support RTI/MTSS with universal screening, progress monitoring, and problem‑solving teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as a core IEP member and ensure IDEA/state compliance.
