Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a licensed school psychologist to deliver student-centered mental health services within a school setting in Danbury, CT. You will diagnose, counsel, and collaborate with educators and families to support IEPs and eligibility decisions.

The role emphasizes building provider relationships and maintaining documentation throughout the school year to positively impact student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program
• Active state-level licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience working in schools or with children required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and support stuåçdents with mental health and behavioral needs
• Provide individual and small group counseling services to students
• Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs
• Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions
• Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned
