Responsibilities

  • Identifies and assesses learning, development, and adjustment needs using data to inform interventions.
  • Provides interventions to support teaching and maximize student learning and adjustment.
  • Consults with parents, teachers, other school personnel, and community agencies to enhance student learning and adjustment.
  • Assists in planning, development, and evaluation of programs to meet identified needs.
  • Delivers a planned and coordinated program of psychological services.
  • Applies ethics and standards of professional practice and adheres to laws and policies governing practice.
  • Communicates effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
