Job summary

Qualifications

• General or Provisional Psychology Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal Education Policy and inclusion strategies.
• Valid Working with Children Check (NSW) and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and psychological services to students individually and in groups.
• Administer cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments and report results.
• Collaborate with school teams, parents and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
• Respond to incidents as part of a multidisciplinary team in schools.
• Engage with and implement the Professional Practice Framework for NSW School Counselling Service.
