Qualifications

  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education.
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Knowledge of psychometric principles and assessment practices.
  • Experience administering and interpreting standardized, criterion-referenced, and informal assessments.
  • Understanding of child development, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Support compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
  • Communicate assessment findings and recommendations clearly to parents and school personnel.
  • Promote positive learning environments and student well-being.

Position Overview

The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services that support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success. This role involves conducting evaluations, interpreting assessment results, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing intervention strategies for students receiving special education services, including those with significant emotional and behavioral needs.

Qualifications
Required
  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or a related field
  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Education
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Knowledge of psychometric principles and assessment practices

Preferred
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting
  • Experience supporting students with emotional and behavioral disabilities
  • Familiarity with Arizona special education regulations and compliance requirements
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
Compensation

$40–$60 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, education, and qualifications.
