Job summary

Liberty POST is seeking a motivated Early Childhood School Psychologist for per diem employment to support children ages 3-5 in Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate openings are available in Madison County, NY.

The role includes evaluation, direct therapy, and family education within a collaborative team. Qualifications include a Master’s in School Psychology or Doctorate, experience with preschool assessments, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in School Psychology or Doctor of Psychology
• Evaluation and assessment experience; familiarity with preschool assessment tools
• Effective communication via phone, email, in public, and in large groups
• Proficient on assessment tools necessary for evaluations
• Works independently; manages time and prioritizes tasks
• Strong organizational skills
• Evidence of independence, initiative and forward thinking in clinical work
• Open to feedback and commitment to quality of provided services
• Responds positively to suggestions and maintains a flexible attitude
• Maintains confidentiality of client records

Responsibilities

• Gather outside information regarding child’s performance
• Utilize Provider Soft to record notes and evaluation results and submit evaluation write up to team leader
• Attend staff in-services and mandatory quarterly meetings
• Attend CPSE meetings

Liberty POST is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood School Psychologist for per diem employment to work with children who are 3-5 years old through Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in Madison County.

Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 1994. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout New York State and Indiana. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicates and works with related agencies, community members, clients, families and co-workers.
