Liberty POST seeks an Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve birth-5 years old in EI and CPSE/CPSE programs across Long Island. Positions are available part-time or full-time with immediate openings.

Candidates must hold NY licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology and have strong communication skills. We offer a collaborative team environment with opportunities for mentoring, continuing education, and competitive benefits, including health and retirement

Qualifications

• Current NYS licensure/certification in Speech Language Pathology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Early childhood experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, monitor, and track child progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Test and evaluate child abilities to determine goals.
• Document initial evaluations, treatment, and progress in EMR.
• Write detailed analyses and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of records and documents.
• Follow state laws for Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE.

Liberty POST is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for part-time and/or full-time employment to work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs . Immediate positions are available throughout Long Island.

Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 1994. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout New York State and Indiana. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Test and evaluate child’s abilities to determine realistic goals.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system.
• Proficient at writing detailed analysis and reports.
• Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child’s records and other documentations.
• Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Speech Language Pathology
• Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computer systems
• Valid Driver’s License
• Early Childhood Experience
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type:

Pay Rates:

Office/Clinic Based (EI/CPSE): starting $28 for 30-minute session

Home/Community Based EI: 45 minutes: $57 60 minutes: $75

Home/Community Based CPSE starts at $35 for 30-minute session

Evaluations starting at $155
