Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Elmwood Park, IL is hiring a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you’ll conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments, assist in IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to support student success.

We welcome both new clinicians and experienced professionals. The position offers up to $80/hour, a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology (or equivalent).
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement.
• Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff.
• Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs.
• Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports.
• Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations.
