Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in New Mexico. This in-person position involves psychoeducational assessments, comprehensive reporting, and eligibility determinations for special education under NM/ federal guidelines.

You will join a collaborative team, participate in IEP meetings, provide counseling as needed, and support administrators, parents, and students with best practices in education and mental health services.

Qualifications

• Active NM PreK-12 School Psychologist license or endorsement.
• Ability to work in person with students, families and school teams.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students per NM standards.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports with findings and recommendations.
• Certify eligibility for special education placement per guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and adhere to timelines.
• Provide counseling to students as needed and offer consultative support.
