Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education seeks part-time School Psychologists to conduct psychoeducational assessments in CA, write legally defensible reports, and determine eligibility for special education services. You will join a supportive team and participate in IEP meetings, counseling, and consultation with staff and families.

Ideal candidates hold a valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology, excel at connecting with students and families, and are committed to ongoing professional development

Qualifications

  • Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology.
  • Ability to work in person.
  • Proficiency in connecting with students and families and collaborating with school teams.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously develop professional expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students.
  • Prepare comprehensive, legally defensible written reports with diagnoses and recommendations.
  • Certify pupils’ eligibility for placement in special education services.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and follow due process timelines.
  • Provide counseling services to students as needed.
  • Provide consultative support to administrators, parents, school-based personnel and SPG staff on special education procedures and mental health issues.
