Job summary

BrightBee is seeking a Before and After School Group Leader to support students at Creekside Elementary School and Rancho Romero Elementary School in partnership with the San Ramon Unified School District. Start date is September 14, 2026.

Monday–Friday, 12:00 pm–6:30 pm, with higher earning potential as you work across more sites. You’ll lead students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts), prioritize safety, keep spaces clean, and build strong

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Background check and state-specific clearances required.

As a BrightBee Before and After School Group Leader, you’ll support students in local schools—helping them learn, grow, and succeed. We are currently partnered San Ramon Unified School District. During your interview we will go into detail about what assignments are available at these sites. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is.

To keep students safe, you’ll need to:

• Pass a background check
• Follow safety and reporting guidelines
• Complete required school clearances which you are responsible for paying.
  • Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in California for instructional roles is between $203-$218.
