Job summary

Amergis is seeking a part-time School Physical Therapist (PT) in Milton, MA. The role involves evaluating students and delivering and documenting therapy services in alignment with each student’s plan of care and physician orders when applicable.

Minimum requirements include active licensure as a PT in the state, graduation from an accredited PT program, and CPR/health certifications as applicable. The position is contract-based with a pay rate of $50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and provide therapy services per plan of care and physician orders when applicable.
• Document therapy services and progress for each student as part of the plan of care.
