Amergis, a healthcare staffing provider, seeks a School Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate students and deliver therapy services in Austin, TX. This contract is part-time with pay at $61 per hour and 22.50 hours per week, aligned with prescribed care plans.

Ideal candidates are Texas-licensed PTs with accredited program training; CPR may be required, and prior PT experience is preferred. Amergis offers health/dental/vision and 401(k) along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice (Texas).
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Perform student evaluations.
• Provide and document therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.
• Follow physician’s orders when applicable.
• Document therapy interventions and progress in patient records.
