Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking an Occupational Therapist to design and implement creative individual and group therapies for children across school districts on Long Island. You will evaluate, document, and coordinate with supervisors and school personnel to support student goals.

The role offers both full-time and fee-for-service options, with a flexible schedule aligned to the school calendar and compensation ranging per hour based on experience and caseload. Sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
