Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students ages 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You’ll conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver OT services to promote independence in fine motor and sensory skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and PA licensure.
• At least two years OT experience, including one year with children.
• Strong knowledge of sensory integration and motor development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to documenting and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized IEP goals to improve fine and sensory motor skills.
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to assigned students.
• Track and report student progress through documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to promote carryover of therapy goals.
• Maintain therapy materials and ensure timely, compliant reporting.
