Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to help students ages 5-21 build fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills, promoting independence and participation in learning.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to design individualized strategies, conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and document progress in a timely, compliant manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and PA license.
Minimum two years OT experience, including one year with children.
Strong understanding of sensory integration and motor development.
Excellent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to documentation and compliance deadlines.

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop IEP goals to improve fine and sensory motor skills.
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to assigned students.
Track and report student progress through progress notes and documentation.
Collaborate with school staff and families to promote carryover of therapy goals.
Maintain therapy materials and ensure timely reporting.
