Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services in a school setting in Akron, Ohio. The OT will evaluate students, develop and deliver therapy, and document services per each student’s care plan.

This is a contract, full-time role with competitive compensation. Minimum requirements include active OT licensure in the state, CPR if applicable, and compliance with relevant professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice.
• One year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performing student evaluations.
• Developing and providing therapy services.
• Documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.
