Job summary

NCTA is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality OT services in an educational setting for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in the Akron area. You will evaluate children, plan interventions, and develop instructional plans to meet functional and educational needs.

This temporary assignment runs from Oct 20 to Nov 20, 2026, with hours 7:30am–3pm, 3–4 days per week. Ohio OT licensure, strong assessment and collaboration with educators and COTAs are essential

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Occupational Therapy license required.
• Strong assessment and intervention planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload.
• Work together with and provide supervision to COTAs.
• Conduct assessments and support IEP development.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and OTAs.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to support student success.
• Documentation and data collection of ongoing therapy.
• Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures.
