Zusammenfassung

Eaton RESA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students in the county, working with OT staff and LEA teams to enhance fine/gross motor, visual and sensory skills within the educational setting.

The role involves developing IEP goals, training staff and families, coordinating therapy plans, and ensuring documentation and communication to maximize student outcomes. Evening or weekend hours may be required and travel is possible.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• One year or more experience practicing as an OT preferred.
• Experience with special education students in a school setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate across systems with instructional staff and administrators to support MTSS and data-driven decisions.
• Participate in IEPT and other relevant team meetings for students receiving OT services.
• Evaluate educational performance to determine need for OT services and develop measurable IEP goals.
• Provide consultative OT services to teachers, parents and other service providers.
• Re-evaluate students as needed and plan space, equipment and schedules for therapy.
