Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract role supporting students from kindergarten through age 22 in a school-based program. This position focuses on delivering OT services within the Low Incidence Program at a specialized center.

You will collaborate with educators and service providers, develop individualized plans, and ensure timely documentation, progress notes, and IEP participation.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
• Experience delivering school-based OT to K-22 students.
• Expertise with autistic support programs and life skills curricula.
• Strong organization for caseloads and documentation.
• Experience evaluating students and participating in IEP meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative OT support to students in the Low Incidence Program
• Develop individualized treatment plans to help students achieve academic and functional goals
• Adapt strategies to align with each learner's unique needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, aides, and other service providers
• Maintain thorough records, reports, and documentation as required
