Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for a school setting serving students ages 5-21 with Autism and co-occurring diagnoses. The role involves delivering OT services under IEPs in a structured, supportive environment.

Typical day runs 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with 15-20 IEP service hours per week; duties include small group, individual, and dyad sessions based on student needs. Orientation includes Relias/Net Learning modules and MD Livescan fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland OT license required if applicable
• Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• School-based setting for a certificate-track program serving students ages 5-21 with Autism and coinciding diagnoses
• Full-time position with 15-20 IEP service hours per week
• Services provided in small group, individual, and dyad sessions based on student needs
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Staff may be required to float to any age population when scheduling requires
• Provide occupational therapy services based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Complete non-billable training modules during orientation and annually via Relias/Net Learning portal
• Orientation sessions occur every other Thursday
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland through Livescan prior to clearance
• Facility maintains a strict no-tolerance drug screening policy, including medical marijuana
• Former permanent employees must wait one full year before applying for a travel position
• RTO requests must be submitted with the initial profile; changes after submission are not guaranteed
