The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families and multidisciplinary teams, conducting assessments, developing IEPs with measurable objectives, and delivering sessions 1:1 or in groups, with flexible scheduling and weekend options where available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification.
• Valid State OT license.
• Educational/Teacher certification if mandated by state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of fine motor, visual-motor, perceptual, sensory-motor, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and objectives.
• Deliver therapy sessions 1:1, in groups, or consultative as required by IEPs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Support student independence and participation in the academic environment.
