Job summary

KIPP Tulsa is seeking a School Operations Support Specialist to work across transportation, classroom, and operations to keep the district running smoothly.

The role combines bus driver duties, substitute teaching, and general operations support, with responsibilities spanning arrivals, dismissals, events, inventory, and facilities coordination. This is a full-time, 10-month position aligned with school calendars.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Meet all federal, Oklahoma, and KIPP Tulsa requirements to operate a school bus.
• Background checks, driving-record checks, physicals, and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus or authorized KIPP Tulsa vehicle.
• Provide scheduled student transportation to programs and events.
• Serve as substitute or backup bus driver as needed.
• Transport for field trips, athletics, and school activities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain records.
