Job summary

Whitinsville Christian School in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, seeks a Director of Operations to manage facilities scheduling, safety, and day-to-day campus operations. The role reports to the Business Manager and is full-time.

The successful candidate will lead custodial and maintenance staff, oversee external contracts, and coordinate with athletics/arts to ensure smooth operations and compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in education.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the school’s facilities scheduling and coordinate with Athletics and Fine Arts.
• Manage scheduling of facility rental for nonathletic campus use by external entities.
• Annual evaluation of custodial, groundskeeper and maintenance staff.
• Chair the Building/Safety committees and coordinate with leadership on safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director for facility scheduling and van usage.
• Maintain records on building contracts, services, vehicles, equipment, etc.
• Long-range planning to support growth and future needs.
