Liberty University, School of Engineering in DeMoss Hall, seeks a student receptionist to support front desk operations. You will greet guests, direct them to services, and provide directions to the many locations around the building and campus.
Responsibilities include guiding CASAS advising and tutoring sessions, assisting in coordinating room schedules and events, answering phones, and providing back-up coverage to the office manager for meetings and administrative tasks.
Student receptionist is responsible for helping with administrativecoverage of the reception area: greeting guests and helpingschedule facilities.
Duties will include receiving all visitors to the School ofEngineering and directing them to the needed services by fieldingquestions and providing directions to the many and variouslocations within the school and elsewhere in DeMoss Hall. Specificduties will include directing students scheduled for CASAS advisingand tutoring, assisting in the coordination of room schedules andevents, answering the telephone, and providing back-up coverage torelieve the office manager for meetings and other administrativetasks.

The student must be a residential Liberty University student. Hourswill vary; candidates must have the ability to work 18 hours perweek. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills andmust have and maintain a minimum of 2.5 overall GPA. All applicantsmust demonstrate a personal faith commitment to the University’sevangelical Christian purpose.
The successful candidate will possess excellent oral and writtencommunication skills and customer service skills, demonstratecomputer proficiency, and possess the abilities to both followinstructions and lead others, a Christ-like attitude, and theability to function responsibly with minimal directsupervision.
