Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School Occupational Therapist (OT) in Peoria, IL. This contract–full time position offers a pay rate of $50 per hour and a 35-hour work week within a school setting. The OT evaluates students, develops and provides therapy services, and documents progress per the care plan.

Applicants must hold IL licensure as an OT and meet regulatory requirements; CPR and health clearance may be required. Prior school OT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• One year of OT experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate as required.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations.
• Develop and provide therapy services.
• Document services per the plan of care for each student.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible forperforming student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, anddocumenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for eachstudent.

Minimum Requirements:
