AnthroMed Education is seeking a School Occupational Therapist for FMLA coverage in Plymouth, MN, 4 days per week. You will provide OT services to students with Setting IV services and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Minnesota OT licensure or eligibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is seeking a School Occupational Therapist to provide FMLA coverage during the 2026-2027 school year in Plymouth, MN . This part-time opportunity is 4 days per week and will support students receiving Setting IV special education services .

In this role, you'll provide occupational therapy services designed to help students build functional, sensory, fine motor, self-regulation, and self-care skills needed to participate and succeed throughout the school day. You'll work closely with special education teachers, classroom staff, families, and related service providers to provide individualized, student-centered support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students receiving Setting IV special education services .
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students' IEP goals and educational needs.
• Address functional, fine motor, sensory, self-care, and participation skills within the school environment.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom staff, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and sensory strategies to support student access and participation.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and required IEP paperwork.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful recommendations regarding student needs and occupational therapy services.
• Provide consultation and support to classroom staff to help carry over therapeutic strategies throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred, particularly experience supporting students with significant disabilities; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
