Job summary

Paradise Valley USD 69 is seeking a Nutrition & Wellness Worker I at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix. This 9‑month, 7‑hour/day role runs 6:30am–2:00pm, with a starting date of 09/02/2026. The position is non‑interim and reports to the Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities include food service support, sanitation, inventory, and ensuring compliance with the National School Lunch Program and health requirements. High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; a Food Handler’s Card is required.

Qualifications

• SKILLS: adhere to safety practices and operate kitchen equipment.
• ABILITY: work with diverse groups and maintain good rapport.
• KNOWLEDGE: basic math, sanitation, and food handling.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment, storage areas, and food serving lines to maintain safe conditions.
• Assist with inspections of food and deliveries to verify quantity and quality.
• Support kitchen management and staff, student workers, and volunteers in daily operations.
• Serve food items to meet nutritional requirements.
• Stock food and supplies to maintain adequate quantities and security.
• Reconcile meal counts and monies to ensure accurate accounts.
• Maintain production reports, temperature logs, and time sheets per guidelines.
• Utilize web-based programs for daily operations.
