Job summary

Alpine School District in Greenwood, KS is seeking a Nutrition Services Worker to support school food service operations at the assigned location, preparing and serving meals while maintaining a safe, sanitary kitchen and serving area.

This position is 4 hours per day at $16.70 per hour. Candidates must be 16+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Job related experience is desired.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and push/pull up to 150 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Arranges food and beverage items at the request and direction of supervisors for serving students and staff efficiently.
• Cleans utensils, equipment, and storage, food preparation and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Cooks food to meet mandated nutritional and projected meal requirements.
• Prepares food and beverage items for breakfast and lunch to meet nutritional needs and meal plans.
• Inventories food, condiments, supplies and equipment to ensure availability for projected menus.
