Responsibilities

• Arranges food and beverage items for serving to students and staff.
• Attends unit meetings, in-service trainings and workshops for job performance updates.
• Cleans utensils, equipment and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Cooks food to meet nutritional and projected meal requirements.
• Estimates and adjusts food preparation to minimize waste and meet meal targets.
• Inspects food items and supplies for quantity, quality and health standards.
• Maintains inventory of food, condiments, supplies and equipment.
• Maintains sanitary kitchen and cafeteria areas in compliance with health standards.
• Performs related duties as assigned to ensure efficient operations.
